Michael Ignatius is the author of Place of Pilgrimage: Fátima Experienced, a non-fictional look at the Fátima events and message realized through the overall experience of pilgrimage. He’s also the writer of the “coming to faith” autobiographical thriller novel entitled, Near-Life Experienced, and the contemplative prayer devotional, Two As One: 50 Two-Day Reflections on the Road to Holiness. A graduate of Boston College, holding a Master’s degree from Holy Apostles College and Seminary where he was also adjunct professor, he has been a youth minister, high school religion teacher and coach, businessman, and parish-level religious education director for over thirty years while researching, engaging in, and leading retreat-style pilgrimages. He is uniquely adept to impassion and personally relate a mosaic of intense religious experiences especially Fátima, the Camino to Santiago de Compostela, and several global World Youth Day events. Current endeavors include composing recondite literary expressions through various writing genres.
